Research interests: The primary focus of research is the history of our country during the colonial period, specifically examining the historical development of the traditional judicial system in Karakalpakstan. The research involves a comprehensive analysis of *qadi* (Islamic court) documents—written records related to legal cases. These documents are written in Arabic, Persian, Old Uzbek, and Old Karakalpak, making their historical study particularly significant. Analyzing these written sources sheds light on the specifics of local administration and legal traditions during the colonial era. Additionally, the study systematizes data on the linguistic features of *qadi* documents, as well as their role and content in historical context. Ultimately, this work fully reveals the scholarly importance and historical value of these sources.
