His main research activities are related to the study of the structural features of crystals of various compounds using single-crystal structural analysis and full-profile analysis of powder samples. He upgraded and adapted the GJANA software package for full-scale analysis of modulated crystal structures to PC systems. Also, a software package has been created for calculating and visualizing Brillouin zones according to specified crystallographic parameters. Based on single-crystal X-ray diffraction data, the crystal structures of many compounds of donor and acceptor molecular complexes, fullerene-based compounds, including the purely organic molecular ferromagnetic C60*TDAE and polymerized fullerene phases, have been deciphered.
